What the game is
Penalty Shoot-Out has no reels and no paylines. At the start you choose one of 24 national teams, set your stake and step up to the spot. Each kick goes to one of five places: the two top corners, the two bottom corners or straight down the middle. You can aim yourself or let the game pick a spot at random.
Every goal moves you up the multiplier ladder and puts a new opponent in goal. After each one you choose: collect what you have, or take the next kick. Five goals win the whole shoot-out and the top prize of 30.72x your stake.

The multiplier ladder
The ladder doubles from the second goal on. The chance column assumes each kick is a 50/50, which is what the 96% RTP and the doubling steps work out to; Evoplay does not publish the exact odds.

Evoplay gives €2,304 as the largest single win, which is 30.72x on a €75 stake. UK casinos set their own stake limits in pounds, and the game’s rules screen shows them.
Collect or shoot again?
This is the only real decision in the game, and the maths makes it less dramatic than it feels. On a £1 stake, collecting after one goal pays £1.92 about half the time. Going for two pays £3.84 about a quarter of the time. Both work out at 96p back per pound over many rounds, and so does every other stopping point up to the fifth goal.
What changes is the shape of your results. Stopping early gives frequent small wins and a balance that moves slowly. Going for all five means most rounds lose, with the rare 30.72x carrying the rest. Pick the pattern you are comfortable with before you start, and do not switch plans to win back a save.
Using the free demo well
Rounds take a few seconds, so the demo is a quick way to see what each plan feels like. Play fifty rounds collecting after the first goal, then fifty going for three, and compare where the play-money balance ends up. You will also see how often a run of saves comes along, which is useful to know before staking real money.

What is the Penalty Shoot-Out game?
An instant game from Evoplay, released in May 2020. You choose a national team, set a stake and take up to five penalties. Every goal raises the multiplier, and a save ends the round and loses the stake.
How much does each goal pay?
The first goal is worth 1.92x the stake, and each one after that doubles it: 3.84x, 7.68x, 15.36x and 30.72x for the fifth.
Can I take my winnings before the fifth kick?
Yes. After any goal you can collect the current multiplier and the round ends there. If you shoot again and the keeper saves, the whole amount is gone.
Does it matter where I aim?
You pick one of five spots or let the game choose for you. The result is set by the random number generator either way, so no corner is safer than another.
What is the RTP of Penalty Shoot-Out?
Evoplay lists 96.00%. Because the multiplier doubles while the chance of scoring again roughly halves, the expected return is about the same whether you collect after one goal or go for all five.
Is there a free Penalty Shoot-Out demo?
